YOU DON’T GIVE TO A CHURCH, YOU GIVE THROUGH A CHURCH.

Automate your Giving

An auto draft from your checking account, savings account, debit, or credit card means you never have to worry about remembering to write your tithe and offering check, even if you are out of town.

Why we Give

God influences the world through His people. Every dollar you give to Hope Church makes an impact in this community and across the earth for the glory of Jesus Christ; the Gospel is preached, lives are changed, the hungry are fed, and you, in turn, are blessed by God so that you can continue to be a blessing for God.

Giving is an expression of our love for God. He desires for us to put Him first in every area of our lives, including our finances. Over and over, scripture instructs us to give back a portion of what God has so generously blessed and entrusted to us.

2 Corinthians 8:7, “Continue to be a blessing for God. Since you excel in so many ways—in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us—I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.”

Tithing

A tithe is one-tenth of our income given to the local church on a regular basis. We believe that the goal of tithing is a clear Bible teaching that also provides a great benefit to the giver

Malachi 3:10, “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!”

Proverbs 3:9-10, “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.”

Offering/Generosity

Giving above and beyond the tithe.

2 Corinthians 9:7-8, “You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.”
